A page is a static element in a website / blog. It does not get the chronological treatment!
This shows up in the URL Permalink as a conventional page path
WordPress allows you to have the best of a traditional “paged” website with the best of a blog “Post” ,which is in timeline order and includes index “tags” and content organized by major topic areas into chapters or “categories”.
WordPress Web-presence ( traditional website, blog ) can be a combination of both approaches: Page and Post
Blog Posts can have the latest and greatest new offers, promos and the like, while Pages offer “content structure” and in depth content that doesn’t change that often. Why not take advantage of the best of both world’s?
